TOKYO: China’s 13-year-old swimming sensation Yu Zidi completed a hat-trick of Asian Games golds on Wednesday (Sep 23) – but will go home with “some regrets”.
這位年僅十三歲的中國泳壇新星 Yu Zidi 在週三（9月23日）完成亞洲運動會金牌三連霸——但回家時會帶著「一些遺憾」。
The schoolgirl powered home to win the 400m individual medley in an Asian Games-record 4min 28.56sec, making it three golds from three events in Tokyo.
這名女校生以亞洲運動會紀錄的4分28.56秒，力壓全場，奪得400公尺個人混合泳，實現東京三戰皆金。
She also won the 200m butterfly and 200m individual medley, also in Asian Games-record times.
她同時贏下200米蝶泳與200米個人混合泳，成績同樣刷新亞洲運動會紀錄。
Yu is shaping up to be a major medal threat at the 2028 Los Angeles Games but she said she still has room to improve before then.
余子迪被視為在2028年洛杉磯奧運會的主要獎牌威脅，但她表示在那之前仍有提升空間。
“I gained a lot from these Asian Games but there were also some regrets,” she said after the race.
「我從這次亞洲運動會學到很多，但也有遺憾，」她在賽後表示。
“I’ll go back and keep reviewing what I didn’t do well, and I hope I can do better next time.”
“我會回去再檢視自己哪些地方做得不夠好，希望下次能做得更好。”
Yu’s time beat the previous 400m IM Asian Games record set by China’s Ye Shiwen in 2014 by almost 4.5 seconds.
她的成績比中國選手葉詩文在2014年設定的400米混合泳亞洲運動會紀錄快了近4.5秒。
It was the fourth-fastest time in the world this year, with world record-holder Summer McIntosh owning the top three.
這是本年度全球排名第四快的成績，全球紀錄保持者 Summer McIntosh 獨佔前三名。
Yu has dominated this week in Tokyo but she stood in wide-eyed amazement when a reporter suggested she had made it look easy.
在東京本週她霸佔風頭，但聽到記者說她「看起來很輕鬆」時，卻瞪大眼表示驚訝。
“Definitely not,” she replied.
「絕對不是，」她回答。
“It didn’t feel easy at all. It was quite challenging.”
「根本感覺一點也不輕鬆，確實相當具有挑戰性。」
Yu finished 3.95sec clear of silver medallist Ke Wenxi, also of China, with Japan’s Mio Narita third.
她以3.95秒的優勢領先同樣為中國的銀牌得主 Ke Wenxi，日本選手 Mio Narita 榮獲第三名。
Ke is only 15 and she and Yu made heart signs and chatted happily together as they celebrated their one-two finish.
Ke 只有15歲，兩人於慶祝一二名並肩時互相比心，愉快交談。
“We’re good friends, this time we shared the same room,” said Yu.
「我們是好朋友，這次還共用同一房間，」余子迪說。
“We kept encouraging each other all day.”
「整天彼此互相鼓勵著。」
But Yu would not be drawn on her chances of success at the LA Olympics, when she will be 15.
但當被問到在LA奧運會，她到時將只有15歲的情況下有沒有勝算，余子迪沒有回答。
“Keep working hard,” she said of her goals.
「繼續努力，」她就自己的目標這樣說。
“Break through my limits and recent times and keep working hard.”
「突破我的極限與近年的成績，繼續努力。」
中國稱霸
Yu was the headline act on another impressive night in the pool for the China team.
他們在七枚金牌中贏下六枚，與游泳開幕之夜的表現不相上下。
Yu Yiting upset her team-mate Zhang Yufei to win the women’s 100m butterfly final in a time of 56.41sec.
Yu Yiting 以56.41秒逆轉隊友張雨霏，贏得女子100米蝶泳決賽。
Zhang is a multiple Olympic gold medallist and world champion who was the women’s MVP at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou.
張雨霏是多屆奧運金牌得主與世界冠軍，亦在2023年杭州亞洲運動會成為女子MVP。
She took control of the race before fading badly and being pipped to the finish, 0.03sec behind Yu.
她在比賽早段掌控節奏，後來卻明顯力竭，最終以0.03秒之差落敗於余子迪身後。
“That’s sport,” said Yu.
「這就是運動，」余子迪說。
“When everyone is not at its best or when everyone is at their best, what often decides the outcome is the final 15 metres.”
「當每個人都未達最佳狀態，或是皆處於最佳狀態時，往往是最後的15米決定勝負。」
China’s Peng Xuwei completed a backstroke double after winning the 100m in a time of 59.30sec.
中國的 Peng Xuwei 在100米仰泳以59.30秒完成仰泳雙冠。
Peng, who won the 200m backstroke by almost three seconds, said she was hoping to be even better at the LA Olympics.
在200米仰泳領先近三秒的她表示，希望在洛杉磯奧運會取得更佳表現。
“I feel like this was a test before the final exam,” said the 23-year-old.
「我覺得這像是期末考之前的一次測試，」這位23歲選手說。
Zhang Zhanshuo won the men’s 200m freestyle, Tan Qianting topped the podium in the women’s 100m breaststroke and China took gold in the 4x100m medley relay.
張展碩贏得男子200米自由泳，譚倩婷在女子100米蛙泳奪冠，中國隊亦在4×100米混合泳接力奪金。
Japan’s Shoon Mitsunaga prevented the clean sweep, winning the men’s 100m butterfly.
