Path of Democracy (“PoD”) collaborated with the Hong Kong Academy of Politics and Public Policy to host the “2023-2024 Sixth Cohort Student Beijing Exchange Programme”, commencing today with a four-day schedule.

This morning, we visited the Constitution and Law Committee of the National People’s Congress and the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions, with the aim of jointly advancing education and promotion of The Constitution of the People’s Republic of China in Hong Kong.

In the afternoon, we visited the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations. Both parties engaged in an in-depth exchange on the advantages, challenges, and difficulties regarding Hong Kong’s future development, as well as proposed countermeasures and recommendations.

Subsequently, we visited the Office of the Government of the HKSAR in Beijing.
